Ed4Career believes that support is critical to the success of online learning. That’s why we’ve developed our Online Student Center (OSC) – available to our Career course and For-College Credit students.
Our Student Center is stocked with useful tips, resources and tools for students, all designed to support the online learning experience. The following is a sampling of what the OSC offers:
- Interactive discussion boards that allow students to:
- Post tips for succeeding in the classroom AND in the workplace
- Post tips for succeeding in the classroom AND in the workplace
- Exchange success skill advise with peers, such as better time management or study skills
- Network with students across the country for both social and professional purposes
- Helpful study tips,
- Resources for career development,
- Information on professional standards, and
- Inspiration and motivation to help promote success.
Students are invited to introduce themselves to the Ed4Career learning community by telling about themselves, their education journey, personal interests and more. Our Online Learning Discussion Forum allows students to seek advice from one another as well as share advice and motivation.
Our Academic Career Forums are facilitated discussion boards that invite students to discuss important industry trends. Ed4Career offers forums across a dozen industries, including Business, Counseling and Legal. Students can pose a question to others studying in their field, as well as join lively conversations on a variety of topics!
Our OSC offers access to a Career Coach, available to answer your questions, provide resources and assist you with career services. Utilize the Career Coach to learn more about internships, interviewing skills, resume building and job search tips.
Ed4Career students are invited to check into the Online Student Center regularly to see the latest news and trends, listen to other students' stories, and share their own in this collaborative online student community!
