Ed4Online is dedicated to supporting our military personnel, veterans, and their families. Because our nation’s service men and women make sacrifices to protect our country and our freedoms, as a company, we see it as an honor in supporting them.
Recruiting and Hiring Military Veterans & Spouses
At Ed4Online, we focus on recruiting veterans and spouses not only because it’s the right thing to do, but also because it’s good for our business. Military veterans and spouses possess the skills we need to succeed as a company and are an invaluable part of our workforce.
“We’ve employed a number of military spouses at Ed4Online and have seen firsthand the dedication that these individuals bring to their work. However, we’ve also seen that outside of portable careers, it’s this group of people who often have the hardest time finding and sustaining work with such a transient lifestyle,” said Dr. Tricia Seymour, Chief Operating Officer at Ed4Online.
Online Tools and Resources
We understand the challenges that veterans face once they transition out of the military and are faced with having to find employment. We also understand the challenges that military spouses face when it comes to their professional careers. At Ed4Online, we provide portable online career courses to ensure that regardless of your situation, you are able to get the career training you deserve.
The support doesn’t end there; we know that career transitions can be challenging for anyone — and even more so for veterans who are entering a new world with a new set of jargon. Therefore, we have created online tools and resources and checkpoints to help veterans and spouses through the career transitioning process, such as:
- A military-focused career site that gives resources, tips, career spotlights and a blog updated weekly: www.milcareered.com
- Two FREE Military Spouses Careers eBook: Click Here!
Supporting Veterans and Military Family Organizations
A long-standing mission of E4Online is to support military organizations that are dedicated to helping military personnel and families. We currently have relationships with:
Military Spouse Corporate Career Network (MSCCN) is a non-profit organization that focuses on; Employment readiness training programs, job placement solutions, no-cost services to all military-affiliated spouses, retired military spouses and caregivers to war wounded heroes.
Corporate America Supports You (CASY) focuses on assisting National Guard and Reserve members, as well as Veterans in employment training, counseling, and job placement.
In the effort of continuing to support these organizations and the work they do for our military, Ed4Online has donated proceeds of career courses sold to these organizations.
