Learning another language is vital for success in today’s world, whether you need to communicate in the workplace or are traveling. This course provides an introduction to the English language. Our course aims to teach basic English vocabulary, grammar, literacy, and conversation skills to individuals with little or no knowledge of the English language. We will cover the proper ways to structure sentences and communicate in a conversational way to others.

Our Bullying in Schools course discusses the connections between school shootings, bullying, and gender and social demands placed on children in our schools. Our Substitute Teaching course breaks down each grade level in sections that discuss what students are learning and possible activities to implement for each curricular area. We also describe ways to create smooth day to day routines, behavior management techniques, and tips for having success as a substitute teacher.
Social psychologists investigate how we view ourselves and others, how we interact with others, how we influence others, and how we act when we are part of a group. Given the amount of time each of us spend thinking about and interacting with the people we encounter every day, much of our lives are spent with the subject matter of social psychology. You encounter social psychology in your day-to-day life, and a textbook on social psychology should reflect that.
