Although it isn't as easy as it sounds, our Personal Stress Reduction course will help you find these sources and take charge of your thoughts, emotions and the way you deal with problems. Included in our course discovering what stress is, how to relax and connect with your mind and body, and how to change your perspective and handle your life better.

What is Stress?
No one can avoid all of the things that contribute to stress, but you can learn new approaches to balance the effects. In module one, we will examine the potential causes of stress, types of stress, and what affects stress can have on a person. Also included in this module is children and stress.

The Mind/Body/Spirit Connection
Relaxation techniques and regular exercise stimulate serotonin production and quell stress and anxiety in much the same was as antidepressants. In module two, we will look at how the basics of stress management and how to achieve and maintain good health.

Relaxation Techniques and Body Work
There are many ways to slow down and enjoy the proven mind/body/spirit benefits of mindful relaxation. Because of the human need to connect, it’s very beneficial to be touched and massaged. In module three, we will examine the relaxation response and techniques that work for every individual.

Diversion and Changing Perspective
Do you like to take vacations? Go to the spa? Do you have relaxing hobbies? Module four will look at types of diversions individuals need to relax and relieve their mind and body from everyday stress. Also included in module four is how your perspective changes as your body and mind relaxes.
